We only track one number religiously. And this is a number that is obscured to most producers.  We cut through all the mire to get right to the heart of profitability.  

So What are we saying here? Simple. How many cows did you expose, most likely counted at weaning, divided by the calves weaned the next year. For us the weaned tally is the total sold, plus breeding stock.  

Over the course of time we have reached about 87%. This means if we had 100 cows at weaning this year, next fall we would have 87 calves to wean.
